For my IDS 302 project, I decided to research something that was close to my heart. I am extremely passionate about the irreplaceable role that fathers play in their children’s lives. There is an epidemic of fatherless children and families aren’t there? Just look at the statistics! Divorce is rampant and the world feels the emptiness that only daddys can fill. This project is an analysis through a Biblical worldview of this critical issue of contemporary culture.
My Thesis:
The growing epidemic of fatherless families has taken a grave toll on children, both young and old, in the form of emotional, social, spiritual, academic, physical, criminal, and suicidal issues later on in life.
I do want to make it clear that no father is perfect and this project is not meant to be a burden. It is merely for the purpose of awareness that men have an irreplaceable role in their children’s lives.
